DAILY WORDS OF HOPE
BY PCG, HOPE CONGREGATION–SAK. EST
TODAY’S VERSE: 1 Corinthians 1:30
THEME: THE WINSOME CHRIST MINDSET
WORDS OF HOPE:
The mindset can generally be expressed as a set of assumptions, methods, or notions held by one or more people or groups of people, according to the Cambridge English Dictionary. Kings, for instance, think in a certain way; similarly, the saints of old who once lived among us, and have now taken their place in the Kingdom of heaven, also had their way of thinking in their day. Mindsets play out in imaginations, thoughts, and in what are referred to as mental strongholds [2 Corinthians 10:3-4]. They fight for or against your life. Mindsets give birth to your consciousness, which is your default paradigm of living. Let us explore some wonderful mindsets that will give us the edge in life mightily, and make us soar on wings like eagles.
From the reading today, Paul, the apostle by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit guides us into a consciousness we must have as God’s people. Christ Jesus, he exhorts, has become to us:
• Wisdom , Righteousness, Sanctification & Redemption
Who Jesus is to us when we believed, is so important we must fully explore and establish these mindsets to have an exceptional life. Have you not always wondered why Christ and the apostles were successful? If we have the same word of promise shared with us and have all been baptized into the same Holy Spirit then we must have the same or even better results. The difference between us and them is how they thought – their mental construct.
These are the life, the consciousness we must possess and live by always. Let us journey into the truth of God’s word in the ensuing days to understand and activate this consciousness. Hallelujah!
• Pray and thank God for Jesus’ death, burial; resurrection and ascension and the benefits they have brought to your life.
• Praise God for the presence of His Holy Spirit in your life and His manifold workings within you.
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the great life you have brought me into, having enabled me to believe in your Son, Jesus Christ. I praise you greatly in Jesus’ name. Amen
