TODAY’S VERSE:
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Daniel 11:32
THEME: KNOWING GOD – AN IMPORTANT KEY FOR EXPLOITS
WORDS OF HOPE:
Today’s text is an extract from the message angel Gabriel gave to Daniel about what was going to happen in the future. In describing the activities of a world leader who would arise and deceive many, Gabriel noted that although this leader would succeed in corrupting many people, those ‘that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.’ This statement teaches us that knowing God is an important key for exploits in the Christian life. While those who do not know God become easy targets for deception, manipulation, and destruction by the enemy, those who know are strong and are able not only to resist the enemy but also triumph over him.
Daniel himself, to whom this revelation was given, was an epitome of this. His enemies’ conspiracy to manipulate and destroy him (See Dan 6) could not prevail over him, rather, contrary to their expectation, he prospered, he did exploits. If we will be strong, not kowtow to the deception and manipulation of the enemy, and do exploits, we will have to strive to know God and know Him intimately. Shalom!
PRAYER POINTS:
• Pray that you will devote yourself wholly to God, learning to know Him intimately.
• Pray that your knowledge of God will cause you to be strong and do exploits.
PRAYER:
Oh God, may we realize the great benefit of knowing You and devote ourselves wholly to You so we can be strong and do exploits. In Jesus name we pray. Amen 🙏🏽
